This campaign was created to show the dangers of edibles on children. As cannabis has become legal within Canada, it posed many safety concerns for children. The idea behind this campaign was to demonstrate that children cannot tell the difference between an edible and real treats. The message of this campaign needed to be straightforward and simple to get the attention of parents.
The images were taken in a small studio with a Nikon DSLR camera and later photoshopped to fit each poster, rack card, and billboard. The Public Health Sudbury & Districts style guide was followed for this campaign, the coloured bars, fonts and colours were incorporated to follow the agency’s branding. This campaign was later adapted and used by other health organization around Canada.
